I ordered the champagne cake online (which I had ordered before several years ago not knowing if it would taste the same). The cake was moist and not very sweet-which I loved. It tasted exactly the same as years ago which was pleasant surprise! They even added the custom birthday writing beautifully. I felt the price was appropriate for the quality and let me say these cakes feed WAY more than the stated serving! Only con I have is the frosting ... there was a lot of frosting. Too much frosting in my opinion BUT luckily it wasn't too sweet The cake was ready for pick up when I arrived and I was in and out within 5 minutes It is a cute little shop (very snug inside) but it's still a cute and clean location.

My favorite neighborhood bakery. Plenty of cakes to pick from when you need to pick one up to celebrate a loved one. Also a fun place to stop by and treat yourself to delicious little baked goods or cute themed sugar cookies. This time I picked up the Italian rum cake for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint!!

One of my favorite bakeries. Fresh baked goods daily. The fruit basket cake is the best I've ever had. The fresh baked rolls are always a holiday favorite. Highly recommend this establishment.

Tasted your chocolate cake decorated in memory of Leah Ezray. It's incredible! , but I live in San Carlos and Sacramento is too far to go for it. It's the best I've tasted in years - even better than home made!

I love this little bakery and I return every year to get a mini 4th of July cake. They have a great selection of mini cakes and this year they also had festive red white and blue iced cookies. I bought a mini two tier butter cream yellow cake with raspberry filling on the first tier and lemon cream filling on the bottom tier. And I could not say no to grabbing a red white and blue iced star cookies. I devoured 1cookie in my drive home and it was delicious. I'll definitely be back next year for another mini cake.

The absolute best cakes in Sacramento. But they also have other pastry's and treats like cookies and croissants. Their carrot cake is so moist and delicious it's a must try!

Ordered their Flourless almond cake and Carrot cake online 1 wk prior for my mom's bday. Fairly seamless process online. Pick up was easy as well. Flourless cake was good. Moist and light. Sweet but not overly sweet. Carrot cake IMO was better than the almond cake. The frosting was more of a buttercream and cream cheese combo. Worked well. The cake was moist as well. We'll likely order here again.

Freeport Bakery is a staple for us for a few things and they're always consistent with quality and customer service. First off, while they have limited parking, the fact that they have designated spots in the area is great. When you walk up you'll find some outdoor seating and we always see people there enjoying some treats with their dogs, families and kiddos. It's a fun little area. When they're busy the line is out the door, but they manage to keep it moving. Some of our favorite items are the pizza rings, pretzels, cheese buns and cakes/pies. We love trying their cake slice options to try different things and fell in love with the Mint Chocolate Chip pie that we've now purchased the last few years around St. Patrick's day. Whenever it's available it is a must buy for us. They have a great variety of seasonal items and flavors and you can also place custom orders. On top of the cakes, pastries, cookies and pies they also have some breads and coffee options.

Hello old friend. We meet again! I was in town for business. My first time here since I moved 14 years ago. Still cute. Still filled with all the deliciousness. Still staffed by the friendliest people. I wanted to take it all back to Chicago with me. Sadly, I couldn't as St Patrick's Day is too far out and I still have a bit of travel to do so none of the shamrock cookies would keep until I saw the Littles. I did settle for a 1/8 sheet cake sized coffee cake. The flavor was chocolate cherry and it was amazing. If you're in the area and need to bring something for a brunch or just want something to have at home. I highly recommend 1/8 of a sheet cake will take care of me and my husband for the week. Didn't get much else on this trip, but would definitely consider me some back on my next adventure. For what it's worth, Sacramento has really stepped up in the game. My friends and I were there for work, and in the course of three sleeps, we ate some pretty epic meals more reviews of local eateries to come.
